Sicilian black/funeral doom metal outfit Fordomth is going to release I.N.D.N.S.L.E. – In Nomine Dei Nostri Satanas Luciferi Excelsi on November 10, 2018 via Endless Winter in digital, jewelcase and digipack formats (pre-order aivailable here). The album is now available in full streaming premiere via Cvlt Nation.
Fordomth’s much-anticipated debut full length I.N.D.N.S.L.E. – In Nomine Dei Nostri Satanas Luciferi Excelsi is a concept album based on the theme of eternal damnation, developed under its satanic perspectives, as the title itself suggests. Consisting of five chapters – three long-lasting tracks plus intro and interlude – the record is a one-way journey towards an abyss of nothingness, in which there is no room for light, hope or redemption.
Fordomth set up a soundtrack for this downfall, weaving together Ahab’s gaze into the depths and Evoken’s unfathomable atmospheres, finally adding a stifling black metal cry reminding the works of Nortt. Vocals are pointed out as a means to express the despair, thanks to the presence of two vocalists in the original line-up: Gabriele Catania, dealing with abyssal gutturals and shrieks, and Federico Indelicato, praying for mercy with otherworldly clean vocals. What is more, the record features guest vocalist Salvatore Calamarà (BuiOmegA, ex-Sicklown) who added its contribution in terms of variety, taking also care of mixing and mastering of the whole work.

“I.N.D.N.S.L.E. deals with the theme of damnation, putting the canonical fall of Lucifer in comparison with the psychological and spiritual presented in the five tracks. Each chapter is a symbolic passage: Lucifer’s damnation is the damnation of the whole humanity.
It is no accident this debut album comes after a tormented – yet profound and visceral – musical path begun in 2013. The band needed five years to shape their will and destiny to realize a concrete, funereal act of resistance against the passing of times.”
The album has been recorded between Studio12 and Studio Dupin (Catania). Mix and mastering by Salvatore Calamarà. Logo, artwork and layout have been realized by View From The Coffin.
