While working on his new album, which is expected to be released in late spring, Dactah Chando released a live album over the festive season. This album was recorded in summer 2017 at Reggae Can Festival in Tenerife, home of Dactah Chando.
Dactah Chando is one of the best Spanish reggae and dancehall singers. He is a master at creating lyrics and a master in rhythmic phrasing. He plays with words, phrases, and rhymes as if it were the easiest thing in the world to do. With this unique ability, he adapts to any riddim – whether it is roots, reggae or dancehall – to turn it instantly into his unmistakable, characteristic Dactah Chando Reggae-Canario style.

With their debut album, “Burning Inspiration” garnering high praise and strong reviews, together with highly acclaimed performances supporting Natty on his 2017 UK tour, the future is indeed looking bright for Royal Sounds and UK reggae.
January 26th sees the band finish their first UK Headline tour at London’s Borderline Club and to celebrate such a momentous occasion, Sugar Shack Records have decided to release ‘Love’ as a radio single. The track is suitably upbeat and has the positive message of ‘Love will save the day!’ How the world needs that message in 2018.

The track „Migrants“ strongly denounces the inhuman management by the public authorities of the tragic situation of immigrants. It pays tribute to the boundless courage of these men and women who travel thousands of kilometers to find a land of freedom.
With the help of the “Rastas du coeur” organization, Joe Pilgrim has contacted the volunteers of organizations working in the camp called “The jungle” in Calais. He went there to meet and carry the voices of these men, women, and children in transit in these makeshift camps. With the collaboration of Juliette Baudot and Ma Kata, they shot a musical video clip in the form of a documentary.
