Pat Moley, who writes and performs as The Richmond District, is an LA-based songwriter/guitarist who’s been on the California club circuit for a handful of years. For years, Pat had been a gigging guitar player with not much thought about writing songs that he would then have to sing.
Onstage? A lot of work. Earnest, hard work. Come on.
But now and then things happen that can’t be helped, some songs must come out …and so The Richmond District began, a nod to his old neighborhood & a rock n roll band with songs that have garnered attention from Southeast Asia to Brazil. A band that hasn’t forgotten how to make you freak out.
‘Monaco’ is a feel good Californian anthem and who doesn’t need that?!
The Richmond District will be playing dates in Los Angeles and San Francisco through the spring and summer of 2024.
