Italian-born Marta Del Grandi is an eclectic singer songwriter gathering influences from near and far to create a unique genre-splicing style, a jazz vocalist originally, now travelling her own unique and unchartered path.
Having studied the fine art of songwriting, she draws from the wonderment of life with electronic synths, classical structures and ambient soundwaves.
Newly signed to Fire Records, Marta Del Grandi is set to release her first album with the label later this year. If you can’t wait until then, ‘Taller Than His Shadow’ is now free to download on Bandcamp and to stream on YouTube.
‘Taller Than His Shadow’ was written for the movie ‘Radical Landscapes’ by Elettra Fiumi based on Fabrizio Fiumi from the 70s Radical Architecture collective, the 9999 Group.
