New EP of unreleased music from their ‘Eyelet’ sessions
Following the release of their acclaimed new album, Welsh trio Islet are set to release new EP ‘Golden Top’ as a Bandcamp exclusive on June 5th.

The new EP features unreleased new tracks that were recorded during the ‘Eyelet’ sessions but didn’t make the final cut on their recently released album. Known for their live set openings of meditative and playful handchimes, there’s a communal element that draws the listener into their shared live experience connecting the band directly with their audience.
‘Be More Mared’ begins with that ritual, recorded last summer against a backdrop of sheep and birds nestled in the Welsh countryside. ‘Ancestors’ is the most intimate and burnt out of the tracks and ‘Holding Court’ closes on a more somber note.
