“Who you are tomorrow begins with what you do today” is an adage that holds heavy truth to Long Island, NY pop rock band PRSNA. After 2 years of consistently releasing singles, music videos & media, the group took a step back in 2019, releasing only 2 singles (“Not That Bad” & “Cut Throat”) and a U.S./Canada tour with the Canadian group TWNRVA. Perhaps the step back was a preparation for what is to come. PRSNA have just begun production on their long-awaited 3rd EP at Sound Acres Studio with producer Gary Cioni (Crime In Stereo, Free Throw, Hot Mulligan).
“As a band, we write pretty consistently & had close to 20 new songs that were complete or near-complete around the time we released “Not That Bad” (January 2019). We started noticing a commonality & consistency within these new ideas & felt it be best to direct all of our attention to the creative process” states singer, Tom Spartinos.
“As inactive as we seemed, we’ve spent this last year working vigorously to deliver what we believe to be the best material we’ve written as a band” adds bassist, Sam Trestman.
“There’s always room to grow, adapt & mature as an individual, as an artist & as a group. We’ve spent a lot of time focusing on these new songs, our live show & how to deliver a fresh & invigorating experience for a first-time listener or a lifelong fan. Words can’t describe how excited I am to finally share this piece of all us with you.” explains guitarist, Costas Themistocleous.
PRSNA has vowed to come back & deliver content with consistency. Keeping us updated with the production of this new record & their daily lives. The group has also stated that they will be releasing an acoustic EP with 2 brand new, previously unreleased songs. They are currently booking for spring, summer & fall & are beyond stoked to bring their new live show to you. The group’s manager has described their live show as “an experience filled with visuals & theatrics, while still holding true to the common core of the music. An experience that will stick with the audience for months to come.”
The band recently launched a brand new website and a minute-long teaser “The Calm Before The Storm”, which you can watch at the link below. Connect with PRSNA on social media & keep up to date with all that is to come.
