Forged in 2013, Turin based Hot Sunday Blood’s mesmerizing sound primarily comes from the heavier sphere of grunge/alternative metal. Each band member affects the sound in a unique way, coming from different backgrounds such as metal, stoner, grunge, black metal, prog, and new wave.
Having 03 albums under the belt, the Italian group has the tendency to enter a different sonic territory with the advent of the new album. A hundred concerts in action, they were called to open Doyle for the Turin date of his European tour in July 2018. In May 2019 they organize a mini promotional tour in Romania, Croatia, and Slovenia.
The third album, Kein Licht, came out on 17th December 2019 via Snooky Records. The concept album is a journey about psychological human condition seen through a young woman’s eyes. The six-track album is the opening chapter of a two-part opus. Once again outdoing themselves, Hot Sunday Blood veer towards a subtle change in direction with more solid riffs and appealing melodies. The CD version includes a cover of Queen’s timeless classic “Tie Your Mother Down.”
