The highly-hyped Oklahoma City metal quartet DEVIL THEORY has dropped the first single – entitled “Hallowed Witch” – from their debut album with Metal Driver Media. The video was directed by Keegan Meenagh (Keeg The Geek Productions) and features former Zerotheist guitarist & YouTube personality Chuck Menace (aka Syrkatrii) as the main protagonist. The band’s debut EP will be released on May 29th and will be available worldwide through all major online retailers and streaming services.
Formed in January of 2016, DEVIL THEORY is a four-piece metal outfit from Oklahoma City featuring current & former members of Zerotheist, Avis Praeda, & The Glasgow Smile. The band’s pummeling auditory attack consists of timeless riffs inspired by heavy metal giants of the past infused with the mind-altering stoner and doom sounds of the 80’s and 90’s. DEVIL THEORY’S range doesn’t stop with the heavy, but expands into modern progressive stylings as well as softer, soulful pieces that speak to the listener and compel them to sing along.
